Witnessing a rain formation over Ndutu plains

Last week, while on safari in Ngorongoro conservation area, i saw this cloud forming on the small mountain overlooking Ndutu plains. As the small cloud increased in size and change in formation, i knew this will change the weather over Ndutu in the afternoon, so i decided to take periodic snaps and the results were as predicted, rain over Ndutu just after lunch. It was amazing to witness this.
Sometimes a little patience is rewarded in a big way. This is the secret with wildlife photography. On the other hand, if sometimes on our safari, we change our minds to appreciate our surrounding than just focusing on animals, that is when our eyes will open up and then you will realize how much there is to appreciate in nature.
